Lisa Pugliese, RN, LAc

Lisa Pugliese has worked in health care for 30 years. She became an acupuncturist in 2001, having started her career as a registered nurse.
She had long been passionate about helping those not well served by conventional medicine—so studying Chinese medicine and nutritional healing was a natural next step.
She received her degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine here in San Diego, going on to apprentice with Dr. Loisanne Keller, a respected naturopath and pioneer of Chinese medicine in California. Dr. Keller inspired Lisa to draw on functional medicine and diverse schools of thought while deeply studying nutritional medicine.
Lisa devours fiction in her free time. She also loves to travel with her husband and daughters. In 2013, she was honored as a nominee in “Women Who Move the City!” by San Diego magazine.
Angela Chia, DACM, LAc

Angela Chia is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, and has a doctorate in acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Angela is also pursuing a certification in functional medicine, currently as a fellow.
Angela comes from a lineage of Chinese medical practitioners, having first been taught needle placement at the age of seven. She has immersed herself in studying plants as medicine, first at UC Davis and later learning Ayurveda while living in India. Fluent in Mandarin, she also shadowed Chinese doctors as a student in Taiwan, seeing how beautifully and effectively Chinese medicine can complement Western medicine.
Knitting is her free-time jam; she even knits sweaters for her beloved pooch! Angela is a mama to sweet baby Leo.
Michelle Siazon, RN, LAc

Michelle Siazon is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, and registered nurse with over 28 years of clinical experience. She spent the first half of her career as labor and delivery charge nurse before becoming an acupuncturist & herbalist. She is also trained in healing touch and theta healing.
Michelle has spent decades specializing in women’s health, blending Eastern and functional medicine to support fertility, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and hormone balance—including menstrual health, perimenopause, and menopause.
She works closely with a wide network of fertility specialists throughout San Diego, offering collaborative and comprehensive care.
Michelle also co-created and hosted Sacred Fertility Support Circle and The Magic of Midlife: A Woman’s Rebirth—transformative spaces for women navigating fertility and midlife transitions.
Michelle has loved dance since her mom put her in ballet, tap, and jazz when she was 4 years old. Her current love is hip hop, swing, salsa, and bachata. She also enjoys gardening, being a mom, and is an avid reader.

Laurel Seaholm is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist and registered nurse with over 16 years of clinical experience. She is also a certified yoga teacher and has completed her Level IV training in Healing Touch.
Laurel became a believer in acupuncture at 16 years old, after seeing her older brother go into remission from a cancer diagnosis, and has been an advocate for the medicine ever since! She is a strong proponent for individualized and integrative medicine and feels truly honored to accompany patients throughout their healing journeys.
In her free time Laurel loves to travel, explore and connect with nature in a variety of ways. She is the happy dog mama of sweet Maple!

Riann Bullock is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, and registered nurse with more than 20 years of experience in health care. She has a doctorate in acupuncture and Chinese medicine.
Riann has extensive acupuncture and functional medicine experience, treating pregnant women, those experiencing infertility, menopausal symptoms and patients seeking menstrual regulation. Given this expertise, Riann works with a large network of San Diego fertility specialists.
Riann serves as the part-time clinic supervisor at Pacific College of Health and Science, teaching acupuncture students at Rady Children’s Hospital.

Katherine is a certified massage therapist and Reiki practitioner, originally from rural New Hampshire. She focuses on therapeutic massage and energy work to relieve stress, improve range of motion, decrease pain, and remove obstacles to promote the body’s own healing ability. She believes in healing from a mind, body, and spirit perspective, using techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue/fascial release, prenatal, trigger point therapy, stretching and traction, cupping, gua sha, and Reiki energy work.
Katherine is deeply passionate about empowering clients to look at injuries or pain as opportunities to get to know their bodies on a deeper level. Her previous career as an engineer in high stress environments showed her firsthand through injuries how stress can affect the body. The practitioners that supported her had a profound impact on her life, leading her to move across the country to attend the massage therapy program at Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego. In her free time she likes to be outside enjoying the southern California views on the beach or on a scenic drive, or at the store buying her dog another toy.

Amy Ledesma is our front-office manager, often referred to as “the amazing Amy!” She just celebrated her 11-year anniversary with Concept Wellness.
Amy ensures that our front office runs smoothly. She manages our herb and supplement pharmacy, making sure our patients have the products they need to stay on their wellness plans. She organizes the schedule and does countless other jobs to help our patients and practitioners.
Amy has always been interested in health and wellness, and is truly invested in our patients’ care. She is an important part of our wellness team.
Born and raised in San Diego, Amy enjoys spending time in the trees of the Pacific Northwest. A font of creativity, she loves all things art- and music-related.
